I was just cooking a cake and I decided to share the recipe with you, so you can give me your opinion on this beauty…
So today is all about Lemon Cake recipe learned from my Grandma 🙂
This recipe is very easy if you never cooked but the result is really yum’ yum’ 🙂
- 2 eggs
- Sugar: 230g
- Flour: 120g
- Baking powder: 30g
- Butter: 80g
- 2 lemons
First, spread butter on your cake tin and a bit of flour to avoid the cake getting stuck to the baking tin. Turn on your oven: 180° approximately.
Heat up the butter just to make it liquid and mix it with the sugar.
Then add the flour, the eggs, the baking powder and tiny peels of one lemon + its juice.
Pour everything into the cake tin and put it in the oven for 15 min. After this time, cover the cake with an aluminum foil so it does not burn and leave it in the oven for 10 more mins more.
Once its cooked, mix some lemon juice with sugar and spread this juice over the warm lemon cake.
Extra: you can add some orange juice on the top once the cake is cooked and still hot 😉
